This package offers an extraordinary rainforest expedition that transcends the ordinary. It combines extensive jungle trekking, remarkable wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and the unspoiled beauty of Sumatra’s tropical wilderness.

– Three days and two nights of ethically conducted jungle trekking
– Two nights accommodation at a comfortable guesthouse, including breakfast
– Private airport transfers for arrival and departure
– All-inclusive jungle trekking experience, encompassing meals, a certified local guide, porter services, camping equipment, and a river tubing adventure

Itinerary:

Day 1:
Participants will be collected from Medan’s Kualanamu Airport or their hotel and transported via a scenic drive to Bukit Lawang, a tranquil village situated at the edge of the rainforest. After meeting the guide, the remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing individuals to explore the village, relax by the river, or simply appreciate the serene environment prior to the commencement of the following day’s activities.

Day 2:
Following breakfast, the rainforest journey commences. Participants will walk beneath towering trees, traverse small streams, and follow their local guide along concealed trails within the jungle. It is advisable to remain vigilant for sightings of orangutans, playful monkeys, vibrant birds, and other unique wildlife inhabiting Mount Leuser. After enjoying a freshly preparedlunch in the forest, the trek will continue until reaching the campsite. As evening approaches, dinner will be served amidst the sounds of the jungle, and participants will spend the night under a starlit sky.

Day 3:
Participants will awaken to the natural sounds of the environment and enjoy breakfast before proceeding with their trek through the rainforest. Throughout the day, they will have the opportunity to relive the highlights of their jungle adventure while savoring lunch in the pristine wilderness surroundings. As dusk falls, dinner will be served by the campsite accompanied by a bonfire.

Day 4:
After breakfast, participants will resume their trek through the rainforest, taking in the final moments of their experience. Lunch will again be enjoyed amidst the untouched landscape. To conclude this segment of the journey, participants will board traditional jungle tubes to float down the river back to Bukit Lawang. This activity provides an enjoyable and refreshing departure from the forest. Participants will spend one additional night at their accommodation in Bukit Lawang.

Day 5:
Subsequent to breakfast, transportation will be arranged to return participants to Kualanamu Airport or their hotel in Medan. It is anticipated that they will depart with more than mere photographs, carrying home lasting memories of Sumatra’s rainforest, its diverse wildlife, and the individuals who contributed to the richness of their experience.
