Itinerary:

DAY 1
Kick off your journey with an optional pick-up from Medan, Kualanamu International Airport, or your hotel, followed by a comfortable drive to Bukit Lawang. Upon arrival, meet your experienced local guide for an introduction and briefing before your rainforest adventure begins. If you arrive later in the day, take the opportunity to explore the charming village of Bukit Lawang. Stroll along the riverside, admire the surrounding rainforest, relax by the crystal-clear Bahorok River, and enjoy the refreshing mountain atmosphere.

DAY 2
After breakfast at the jungle campsite, continue your trek through the lush rainforest of Mount Leuser National Park. Wander along scenic forest trails while searching for wild orangutans and other native wildlife, as your guide shares fascinating insights into the rainforest’s unique plants. As you explore deeper into this remarkable wilderness, return to camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

DAY 3
Awaken to the sounds of the rainforest and enjoy breakfast before embarking on the final leg of your trek toward the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Along the way, savor lunch in a beautiful jungle setting before heading to the river for an exciting traditional river tubing adventure back to Bukit Lawang. Spend another night at your accommodation in Bukit Lawang.

DAY 4
After breakfast, we will transport you back to Kualanamu Airport or your hotel in Medan. We hope you leave with more than just photos—taking home unforgettable memories of Sumatra’s rainforest, its wildlife, and the people who made your journey special.
